MAX'S MISS ME

Night Skye is the daughter of 5 time Get of Sire winner and true black male, Suri Peak's Coal Man. Night Skye's dam is the full Peruvian SMT Willow Mist. She is ranked in the Top 5% EPDs for fleece weight and she is also ranked in the Top !0% for mean staple length. Willow Mist was shown 3 times and earned a blue ribbon every time. Willow Mist was sired by the Uribe son Golden Beau. She has a touch of silver grey in the bottom half of her pedigree and also genetics provided by the great Accoyo import Torbio. Every time she has been bred to a black herdsire, Willow Mist has produced a black cria and Night Skye is one of those. Willow Mist is a female with a big frame and great substance of bone. She has plenty of milk for her crias and they grow quickly. Night Skye is a solidly built female with good size and good substance of bone. Her jet black fleece is slick and lustrous. Like her dam Willow Mist she has plenty of milk for her crias and they grow well. She has produced 5 crias thus far and she has produced 4 black crias while only being bred to black twice. The one time she didn't produce black was when she was bred to fawn and produced our production female Max's Miss Me. One of her black crias, Damion's Nyte Force, was the 2019 Black Suri Female Color Champion at AOA Nationals. When she was purchased, she had a black female cria by her side that was born 10/1/2019 and was sired by BRKRD Goldstar's Jet. She had that same wet luster as her half sister Nyte Force and she looked like she would be a good one. Unfortunately that girl died in May 2020 from sepsis. Our first breeding was to put Night Skye with Challenger, Jet's full brother, to see if we could get something like the female that died. On 7/12/21 she had an 18.0 lb black male and he developed nicely, but couldn't stack up to the other 3 black males we had in 2021. On July 15, 2022 Night Skye had a 19.6 lbs. true black male cria that was sired by Micah. He has a great Suri phenotype. His fleece seems to be fine, lustrous, and dense. We are looking forward to watching how he develops. Night Skye had a 17.0 lb male cria on 6/30/2024. He's true black and was sired by our herdsire Aragorn. He has a great Suri phenotype and a gorgeous black fleece. He looks like he has a lot of potential and we are looking forward to seeing how he develops.
