Suri Alpacas

With Black Beau's Ariana it's understandable where the great conformation as well as the awesome fleece comes from as you look at the background of her sire, Black Beau. Besides her sire, the fineness of the fleece is something notable in her dam Lianka's lineage. As Ariana has matured the luster of her fiber has stayed clear to the skin, the fineness of fiber is obvious, she has consistent lock structure throughout her fleece, there is a beautiful drape to her locks, and her fleece is extremely dense. She's Beautiful! Ariana's show career was while she was a yearling and she had just turned one year old. She was 13 to 14 months old competing against much older yearlings. We probably should have continued to show her on into the next spring, but by that time we decided to keep her as a production female and it didn't seem worth it. Ariana has had a fiber sample submitted to AOA to be part of the EPD rankings done each year. We feel her overall EPDs are the best of any production female in our herd and can be seen by clicking on the EPDs link. Ariana had her first cria on May 3, 2017. It weighed 16.4 lbs. The sire was Bojack. It's a gorgeous dark brown female! Ariana is an attentive mother to her cria and provides good milk as the cria has grown steadily. Ariana had a light-medium fawn male cria sired by Tapestry's Rockstar Legend on June 5, 2018. He weighed 22.6 lbs and has great fleece characteristics. Ariana had a 21 lb. male cria sired by Alaskan Gold on 7/9/2019. He is a medium fawn. He developed beautifully and has a great Suri phenotype. HIs skin biopsy shows that his wonderfully organized fleece has density, fineness, and uniformity. We named him ANDACAL's Klondike Gold and have kept him as a herdsire. Ariana was bred to Micah for a 2021 cria and it arrived 7/16/2020. It was a girl weighing 18.4 lbs. and she has a stunning fleece. Her fleece is beautifully lustrous, it's fine, it's very dense, and it is organized with an advanced lock structure. We named her ANDACAL Micah's Gabrielle and she had a very good show career including a Judge's Choice. Ariana had a multi colored male cria weighing 22.4 lbs on 7/21/21. His sire was Page Master. He's got a great phenotype and a beautiful fleece. He has all the makings with his exemplary phenotype and outstanding fleece qualities of being a future herdsire. We named him ANDACAL's Guardian Of The Galaxy. Ariana had a light fawn female cria weighing 25.2 lbs on 7/30/22. She was sired by Bold Ruler. All early indications are that she could end up being a special one. Ariana was sold to Sapaveco's Ranch where she had two crias for them. We have purchased her back from them with a beautiful fawn cria by her side that was born 12/25/25. We named her Holly and she's going to be a good one. We can't wait to see Holly grow and develop. Her sire is H & S Double Portion.

Shelby's sire is WI Limited Edition. Limited Edition was undefeated in halter show competitions. Limited never placed worst than 1st in any halter show competition and in every competition where there were enough alpacas for a Color Championship in halter, he won it. Limited was a 4 time Judge's Choice winner including at Nationals. Limited was also a Futurity Color Champion. Limited's sire is Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar. Goldstar has won 20 Get of Sire awards with 3 of them at Nationals, 3 of them at Futurity, and 1 at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. Goldstar is a prepotent herdsire and his son Limited Edition is producing champions, too. Limited Edition has 2 Get of Sire wins including the 2020 AOA National Show. Limited's dam is special, too. She is DDF Accoyo Elena. Elena is a Kahuna daughter that has had 7 registered offspring and all 7 have been Color Champion banner winners and 3 of them have won a Judge's Choice at shows. Elena is definitely a stud production female! Shelbyi's sire was produced by combining two very special Suris! It isn't all just about the sire when discussing the outstanding genetics in Shelby's pedigree. Her dam MMALP Jet's Cara is one well bred Suri, too! Cara also has Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar in her pedigree as her sire is BRKRD Goldstar's Jet, a brown Goldstar son. Sire Limited Edition and maternal sire Jet in her pedigree makes Shelby an outstanding Goldstar line bred female. She's the product of a Goldstar son being bred to a Goldstar granddaughter. Shelby's dam Cara is the result of putting an award winning herdsire Jet together with a female SPAR's Lovely Lucille that always produces banner winners. Cara won 4 banners herself. Jet has sired a National Supreme Champion and has Get Of Sire wins at both the AOA National Show and The Futurity. Shelby's dam is the result of putting a male that is siring champions together with a female that's producing them. The common theme found in Shelby's pedigree is champion. The pedigree is full of Suris that have sired or produced champions and have won championships themselves. We expect Shelby to be a production female that continues that tradition of producing champions!

Limit-Up's sire is WI Limited Edition. He was undefeated in halter show competitions. He never placed worst than 1st in any halter show competition and won the Color Championship every time possible. He was a 4 time Judge's Choice winner including at Nationals. He was also a Futurity Color Champion. The sire's sire is Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar. Goldstar is a prepotent and his son Limited Edition is producing champions, too. Limited Edition has 2 Get of Sire wins including the 2020 AOA National Show. Limited's dam is special, too. She is DDF Accoyo Elena. Elena is a Kahuna daughter that has had 7 registered offspring and all 7 have been Color Champion banner winners and 3 of them have won a Judge's Choice at shows. Elena is definitely a stud production female! Limit-Up's sire was produced by combining two very special Suris! Limit-Up's genetics are not just elite because of her sire. Her dam is HHSF Accoyo Belleza and she is a paternal half-sister to 9 times Judge's Choice winner Electrofyre. The sire of both of them was HHSF Ramilo's Accoyo Phoenix Suri and Belleza was a 1 time Judge's Choice winner herself. Phoenix died young at age 8 with only 21 registered offspring. Belleza's dam is Baron Lafite daughter making Belleza somewhat a line bred female to the great Accoyo herdsire Baron. Belleza, as well as Limited Edition, have excellent EPDs. Belleza's are very close to Top 1% rankings for MSL and FW along with Top 5% to 15% for all the fineness and uniformity categories. She's had 7 offspring thus far and one is too young to have been shown yet. Of the other 6, 4 have been banner winners including one with a Color Championship at The Futurity and another one with a Color Championship at Nationals. One of her sons, BRKRD Accoyo Force One, was a 9 time banner winner. Belleza is a stud production female! When looking at the outstanding genetics found in both the top and bottom of her pedigree, It is no wonder Limit-Up has such an outstanding Suri phenotype with beautiful coverage including an outstanding Suri head style. When you look at the EPD rankings for both her sire Limited Edition and her dam Belleza, it's no wonder LU has such an outstanding histogram at 14 months. Her histogram for EPDs at 21 months was still very good. She has a fleece that is fine, soft fleece with a great hand and beautiful luster. Her regrowth since that shearing at 21 months is beautiful. We feel we have found a female that will be an outstanding production female for us for years to come. Limit-Up will be bred to Whistling Pines Vontae Mack for a cria due in 2027.

Rose's grey sire MMALP Citation has some very unique genetics and only sired two crias before he was tragically lost in the fall of 2019. We have both of them born to our herd in 2020, one male and this female Rose. Citation's sire was Libertad's Notorious, a rose grey male that was sired by Accoyo America Libertad. Libertad only sired 5 offspring before being lost in a barn fire. He was sired by NGG Accoyo Apache II. So, that means Citation's sire Notorious was a half Accoyo grey male and there just aren't many greys with that much Accoyo genetics in them. Citation's dam WLK Adriana has great grey genetics and was a banner winner. More importantly, Adriana has been a great production female and has produced a multiple number of banner winners herself. Her sire was the great grey herdsire Silver Heat and her dam was an outstanding grey female Silver Marquis' Platinum Plus. Platinum Plus is the dam of our black male herdsire BB and was sired by another great grey herdsire named Silver Marquis of Round Hill. So, we have great Accoyo genetics combined with great grey genetics on the top half of Rose's pedigree. Rose's dam Liberty Girl has great genetics in her pedigree, too. The unique thing is that they are a lot of the same genetics as the sire Citation, only in the opposite parents. Liberty Girl has great Peruvian silver grey genetics as her sire is WLK Silver Stone out of Peruvian Silver Heat. Liberty Girl's dam is an Accoyo America Libertad daughter. Libertad is a unique part of Liberty Girl's genetics and now a doubly (dam and sire) unique part Rose's genetics that you won't find in many other herds. Liberty Girl's pedigree goes three generations back and includes some great herdsires that are the foundation of the North American Suri alpaca herd: Ramilo, Pilgrim, Silver Bullet, Apache, and MacGyver. The bottom line is Rose is somewhat line bred for a lot of the same great grey and Accoyo genetics. She's a genetic powerhouse in those regards. It's no wonder then that Rose is such an outstanding grey alpaca. Her phenotype has it all including great fleece coverage on her legs and an exemplary Suri head style. She is loaded with fleece and she has outstanding density. That dense fleece is lustrous and it's fine. She is so nice and we feel she's a female that could improve the grey line in our herd. So, we are keeping her as a foundation female for production. Rose had a classic silver grey female cria on 9/14/23. The girl was sired by Klondike and she has his beautiful Suri phenotype. The fleece coverage is exceptional. The fleece has an amazing staple length and exhibits very nice luster. It has a soft and cool handle. This girl has amazing potential and has been sold.

ANDACAL'S Nouvelle Lianka (New Lianka) is named after her dam Lianka, one of the first alpacas we got when we started in late 2012. Dam Lianka was supposed to be retired and put out to pasture due to old age. On top of her increased age, she had survived meningeal worm a few years ago and her health was hurt by that. But, she obviously wanted to be a mother and had a quick meeting with our boy Remington. Lianka was sired by a Sedoso son and had a Huacho daughter as her dam. She had great EPDs for fineness. At one time she was top 2% for AFD, SF, and %>30. She is still top 2% to 4% in those categories. She is top 15% for SDAFD and top 25% for MSL. She had also maintained a good relative fineness as she had aged. She produced a number of offspring for us with great fleece characteristics. She is the dam of the girl that has been one of our best production females named Black Beau's Ariana., Another daughter out of her sired by such an outstanding male is a blessing, but having a cria and nursing it took a lot out of Lianka. Bless her soul, Lianka passed away 2 months after the birth. That's why we named this girl after her mom. As stated earlier, little Lianka was sired by our modern grey herdsire WLK Remington Steele. She is Remington's first cria that he sired. He has a beautifully organized fleece and great luster. He has an exemplary Suri phenotype. Those characteristics are no surprise because Remington is out of great black genetics on both the top and the bottom of his pedigree. On top of the pedigree is his true black sire MMALP Goldstar's Vader. Vader has been producing great offspring, and especially great black crias the past few years. In fact, in 2019 he was a Get of Sire winner at the National Halter Show and then in 2020 was a Get of Sire winner at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. He has sired a National Supreme Champion and he definitely passes on outstanding prepotent genetics. On the bottom of his pedigree is true black GLR Jamiyah. Your talking prepotent genetics again. She was a National Supreme Champion back when they were just called National Judge's Choice. There are great true black genetics throughout Remington's pedigree. So how did he turn out modern grey? Well in amongst the alpacas listed you find the great harlequin grey named Condor. That harlequin gene showed up in Remington's coloration making him the handsome dark silver grey male he is. We plan on keeping Nouvelle Lianka for production. She has the great fleece characteristics of her dam. It's fine, it's uniform, and has a great handle. From both dam and sire she's inherited a very lustrous, slick fleece. Another thing she got from both is a fleece with great staple length. She has a beautiful Suri phenotype. We feel she will be another stud female like her maternal half-sister Ariana. She is now housed at Whistling Pines Ranch in Wisconsin and she has been bred to that farm's outstanding herdsire Whistling Pines Vontae Mack for a cria due in 2027.

ANDACAL's Skye Is The Limit was sired by WI Challenger. Challenger is a son of the outstanding herdsire Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar. Goldstar has 20 Get of Sire winners to his name including 3 at Nationals, 3 at The Futurity, and 1 at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. WI Challenger is full brother to BRKRD Goldstar's Jet. Jet has passed away, but he produced champions. He sired the 2018 AOA Nationals Light Male Supreme Champion, Jet's Dominion, and has 4 Get of Sire wins himself, including 1 at Nationals and 1 at The Futurity. Challenger was not shown as much as his brother Jet, but he has the same outstanding pedigree. Challenger's pedigree is loaded with the names of many great herdsires besides Goldstar. The names include Torbio, Rockstar, Jackpot, Ramilo, Major Jax, Baron, Saber, Bruxo, MacGyver, and Uribe. Wow! He's a genetic powerhouse and of course, it is not just the males in his pedigree as there are many championship females in it, too. Not only is Skye's sire outstanding, but her dam has elite genetics, too. In fact, she is a product of a line breeding with her sire being a Goldstar son and her dam being a Goldstar granddaughter. On the dam's side of the pedigree, Skye is out of WLK Limit-Up, a female whose pedigree is stacked with breed-defining Accoyo genetics. Sired by WI Limited Edition, a Goldstar son, an undefeated halter champion, and multiple Judge’s Choice wins. Limited Edition won his fair share of Get of Sire competitions himself. So, Limit-Up brings together the proven excellence of Limited Edition along with the genetics of the remarkable production female HHSF Accoyo Belleza. Belleza is widely recognized as a true stud female, consistently producing banner-winning offspring with exceptional fleece and phenotype. Limit-Up herself exhibits beautiful coverage, a refined Suri head style, and a fine, soft, highly lustrous fleece. These are the qualities that make her an ideal foundation female. From the above one can see Skye has the pedigree of a champion even though she was not shown much herself. Like her dam she also has those qualities that make her an ideal foundation female. We can't wait to see what she will produce. She is now housed at Whistling Pines Ranch in Wisconsin and she has been bred to that farm's outstanding herdsire Whistling Pines Vontae Mack for a cria due in 2027. We will co-own the resulting cria with Whistling Pines Ranch and we can't wait to see it!

Skylar's sire is MMALP Beau's Damion and Damion's show career was cut short due to tender fleece, but his sire Black Beau of PVA was both a National and Futurity Champion. Damion's dam Eagle Valley Zambia has produced multiple champions including a National Supreme Champion. Skylar's dam BRKRD Duchess Rose also was not shown due to a tender fleece, but her full sister WLK Amera's Princess was the dam of 2 time National Supreme Champion Electrofyre's Cosmic Dust. The list of outstanding genetics in the bottom half of Artie's pedigree goes on and on. No doubt about it from top to bottom, Artie is one well bred boy. To have all of the championships and judge's choice wins in his pedigree, the genetics have to be ones that produce outstanding fleeces. If you look at the EPDs of sire Limited Edition and dam Skylar, then you will find outstanding numbers (check out Artie's EPDs). So with the genetics and data a person finds in his pedigree, it is no wonder that Artie has such an outstanding Suri phenotype and such outstanding fleece characteristics that could be seen on the day he was born. His phenotype includes outstanding fleece coverage and an exemplary Suri head style. The fleece is fine, lustrous, dense, and organized.

ANDACAL's Majestyk was sired by GLR Bronson. Bronson is a black male that is co-owned by Wilkins Livestock Ranch and Halo Ranch Alpacas. Bronson was a 6 time banner winner including 2 banners at The Futurity and 1 at the AOA National Halter Show. Bronson was sired by the black herdsire Cinders, the 2 time Dark Herdsire of the Year and 1 time Reserve Dark Hersire of the Year at The Futurity. There is another Herdsire of the Year in Bronson's pedigree as his dam GLR Black Pearls was sired by the black herdsire Shavano who also won the award. Yes, Bronson's pedigree is just full of prepotent genetics because besides Cinders and Shavano you'll also find Jackpot, MacGyver, Miguel, and Rockstar in his pedigree. Looking at all that we believe Majestyk has a great chance to be a prepotent herdsire too! That's especially true when one also considers the bottom of Majestyk's pedigree. His dam Ambiance is a daughter of Goldstar and he has 20 Get of Sire championships to his name. Those Get of Sire championships include three wins at Nationals, twice at The Futurity, and once at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. Not only do you have the prepotent genetics found in Ambiance's sire, but you also have her mother who was the daughter of MacGyver. Yes, Ambiance is a Goldstar daughter and a MacGyver granddaughter. And all MacGyver did was win Herdsire Of The Year an astounding 7 times at The Futurity. It's no wonder that Ambiance produced the 2021 AOA Black National Champion Male ANDACAL''s Prince Aragorn, Majestyk's half brother. So, it's no surprise when looking at all the prepotent genetics in his pedigree that Majestyk has such an exemplary Suri phenotype. His fleece is gorgeous too! It's got a slick, wet luster. It's a fleece that has good fineness, has above average density, and a nice handle. It has a great staple length and is a beautiful, flowing fleece.

Zinnia Fields Duncan Idaho was sired by our 8 time champion white herdsire BRKRD Page Master. Page Master has great Suri conformation including an exemplary Suri head style and great fleece coverage from ears to toes. His fleece has wonderful lock structure throughout, the locks are solid, the fleece is dense, the fleece has a great handle, and great luster. He doesn't have the usual genetics found in a lot of the great white Suri herdsires, but they are great genetics nonetheless. He has great herdsires in Ramilo, Montoyo, Uribe, Viceroy, and Armani in his pedigree. He has great fleece data in his biopsy, his histograms and his EPDs. Check them out by clicking on his link and going to his page. Duncan's dam is RGSA Shimmer's Shazaam. Shazaam is a 5 time banner winner. Shazaam's sire is the outstanding male Admirals Commandor. Commandor has been a prolific herdsire and has produced many outstanding offspring including the Champion and Judge's Choice males Oliver Twist and Northstar. We had been looking for a way to add his outstanding genetics to our herd and Duncan seemed like the perfect way to do that through his dam Shazaam. Especially since Page Master is getting up there in age and we could keep his genetics around too. It's not like Commandor's were the only genetics in Shazaam's pedigree that are outstanding. She also has MacGyver, Uribe, Crown Royale, and Kahuna in the bottom half of her pedigree. Duncan's pedigree is loaded with great genetics. It's no wonder then that the combination of Page Master and Shazaam has produced such an outstanding male as Duncan. His Suri phenotype is spot on. His head style is what everyone wants on their Suris. He's solidly built and has great bone. His fleece is outstanding too. He has the beautiful luster that one wants in a Suri herdsire. His frame is just loaded with fleece from head to toe and he has a dense blanket. It's a fine fleece with a very cool handle.

ANDACAL Micah's Keanu was sired by our herdsire MMALP Micah. Micah has not sired a lot of crias, but in all that he has sired the fleeces have had outstanding organization with an amazing, advanced lock structure. Four-time banner winner and full Peruvian Micah is an outstanding grandson of the great herdsire Pucara Kahuna. Micah's sire's dam LCA Elana comes from great genetics and also has quite the show record herself winning 4 banners and placing first at The Futurity. Elana was sired by Grand Marnier, a MacGyver son, and a two-time banner winner. Putting Kahuna and Elana together produced Kahuna's Casper, Micah's sire. Casper won a total of 10 banners in his show career, a Judge's Choice, and a first place at the AOBA National Fleece Show. The bottom half of Micah's pedigree is nice too. His dam Synergy's Duchess is a Sierra Bonita's MacGyver's Synergy daughter and while she was never shown herself, her sire Synergy has produced a multitude of champions. So, the top half of Keanu's pedigree is definitely loaded with championship and prepotent genetics. Keanu's dam Jet's Keilani was sired BRKRD Goldstar's Jet. Jet is a son of the outstanding Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar. Goldstar had 20 Get of Sire wins and Jet was a part of a few of those. With Jet's excellent EPD rankings, his density of 66.96 follicles/sq mm, his S/P ratio of 11.6 to 1, and a good S to P spread of only 7.3 microns, Jet also sired champion offspring. He sired the 2018 AOA Nationals Light Male Supreme Champion, Jet's Dominion, and has 4 Get of Sire wins himself. Jet's pedigree is loaded with great males including Torbio, Rockstar, Jackpot, Ramilo, Major Jax, Baron, Saber, Bruxo, MacGyver, and Uribe. It is not just the males in his pedigree as there are many championship females in it, too. Yes, we can't forget about the outstanding females and there is no way we can give all the credit for how nice Keanu's dam Keilani turned out to just Jet. Her dam Pucara Kendra is a stud production female. She had 5 previous offspring out of 5 different herdsires and all 5 of them have been multiple banner winners. Unfortunately, due to Covid Keilani wasn't shown that much to keep the Kendra's streak of producing mulitple banner winners going. Kendra's sire is Moon River's Peruvian Durango, a MacGyver son. He produced the great herdsire Chakotah of CCR Suris. In addition to Durango and MacGyver, Kendra's pedigree also includes the great herdsires Bruxo, Uribe, Allegro, and Aureo. Kendra's a very well bred female. Putting Jet and Kendra together made Keilani an elite female. Top to bottom it's an outstanding pedigree, and it's no wonder Keanu is special. His phenotype is exemplary with it's beautiful Suri headstyle and overall fleece coverage. He has spot on conformation and a fleece that is dense, lustrous, organized, fine, and uniform. On top of that, Keanu has Keilani's sweet disposition. Unfortunately, we lost Keilani, and we can't wait to see what her son Keanu will sire for us.
